Halloween

Owen really, really got into Halloween this year. He knew what he wanted to be back in August, and never changed his mind. Every time he's see a pumpkin or a Halloween decoration, he'd get super excited. It was so fun to see him get so excited about a holiday. This was the first year since being married that I went out and bought decorations for a holiday, and for the first few days after putting them all up, Owen kept saying how cute they were and how much he loved them, and "our Halloween decorations look nice!"
We had a sugar filled weekend. On Thursday the law school had a Halloween party with trick-or-treating, where Owen filled his bucket to the brim. Friday night we had a ward trunk-or-treat. And Saturday night we went to our friends neighborhood to trick-or-treat with them. The weather didn't permit a very long outing but we all fun and Owen definitely got enough candy to last him until next year!
