Owen has a very deep love for his binky. He is now officially 18 months old and we want to take it away soon, but he is just so cute with it that it is hard for us to want to start. He calls his binky "gee-gee". It is so cute to hear him say it. The other day we finished off some strawberries and I gave him the empty plastic container to play with. He loaded up his binky's in there and carried them around the apartment. It was so adorable. About every other minute he will switch the binky he is sucking on for a different one. Any advice for weaning him on the binky?

Lane had a binky until 2, but we started cutting down use of it at 16-18 months. We told him he could only have it at nap time and bed time. It was a fight at first, but then he got use to it. And then one day he woke up and I put it in my pocket and he never asked for it again. YES!!! Good luck.
