Owen hardly fits in the sink for his baths anymore. Tonight I tried giving him a bath in the tub, and that was difficult having to bend down. Tips, anyone?
Hey Mer -- It is pretty hard when they can't really sit up yet. But it'll get easier. Also, at WalMart (or such similar stores) they have sponge things that are made for babies to lay down on while in the bath. So we've always had those for our kids. Just fill the water up just enough that it covers some, but not high enough it gets in their ears, and then it is easier to wash. You still have to bend down -- but in some ways, you'll always be doing that, even when they're 3! :) Here is a link (hopefully it works) to what the sponge kind of looks like.
So, I guess it didn't work. Maybe if you get the comment in an e-mail it will. If not, just Google Baby bath sponge and amazon.com has a picture of one.
Mer, what the heck, you are still giving him a bath in the sink? HAHAHA, makes me laugh. That was funny. At K-Mart they have a bath seat made of mesh that folds in half for easy storage. It's 7 bucks and is blue. We just laid Callie on that, it works great. If they don't have one there then Walmart makes one like it but it doesn't fold in half which is not as easy to store. I hate those tubs and things that take up tons of space that you rarely use, especially since Owen will only use it for another month till he can sit on his own! hahaha, love you tons, you just made my day!
